I know its sounds silly but iam planning on putting a small T2 turbo on my 2002 1.5L toyota ECHO. Ive seen some echos that are turbocharged and they are sick, they keep up with anything even my brothers BMW 740IL. I already have my eye on a turbo that costs $400 so its a preatty good price. The only thing the dude at the shop have said is that i dont really need all that intercooler stuff. He said that the turbo is small so i dont really need to get too fancy, just place it on reprogram the ECU at dyno and iam good to go. Iam not planning to make this echo into a 9sec car but iam planning to invest about $1000 bucks and make it fast enogh. Does anyone know what i should keep in mind, like what i need to place and replace before i put on the turbo?

I had a concrete patio put in last summer. They said they were going to be putting in the expansion joint that goes between the patio and the foundation on the house but when they were finished they didn't put it in and told me it wouldn't be necessary. Now after the thaw, (I am in MN), the patio top is chipping away because it shifted along the foundation. Is this going to cause problems for me? I am afraid my foundation may have been weakened by this.

could be future trouble for the foundation…they only told you it wouldnt be necessary because they forgot it…see if they cant come back and cut a relief joint next to the wall and caulk it to keep water out…

I've been reading a lot lately about the fact that the original research into fluoride protecting our teeth was funded by the aluminium industry, who had a problem finding a way to dispose of the harmful biproduct, fluoride. Some countries have stopped putting fluoride in the water due to proven increased cavities in children, but it is also in our toothpaste, and countries like Australia still put it in our drinking water and promote it as being protective to our teeth. If you start to research it, you will find it is actually harmful to our teeth and overall health.

How many people are aware of this, and do you know of any plans to cease putting it in the water?
