Golf Lessons

Golf instructions that make golf lessons easy. These golf videos will make all the difference

Archive for the ‘play golf’ Category

I live in Michigan so I don't exactly get to play golf all year long. I have recently tried getting instructions at an indoor golf dome in Okemos, near Lansing but I don't know what else I should do to get my game in gear, or if I am a fool wishing for that lucky pot of gold. I realize that golf is an expensive game but what other steps could be taken to improve my game and how can someone appreciate the game of golf as they did as a kid if they play the sport competitively.

Depends on your definition of the word "pro". A pro in the golfing world is simply a member of the PGA, which is not the same as the PGA Tour. A PGA member is simply a person whose profession involves golf, usually club pros/instructors. I believe requirements for the PGA are somewhere in the neighborhood of a +3 handicap, I am not sure of that exactly. The PGA Tour, however, is a completely different animal. The Tour is the competitive side of the PGA, just look at a leaderboard on a Sunday to see what kind of game you need to make it out there.

I always want to play golf or swim at a country club, but I don’t know any members from the country clubs. Does country club open once a while to non-members to let them try? Do they have events that allow non-members join with them and we can make some members friends? Is there any way that we can meet their members?

You need to call the club you have an eye on. They may be having a trial out day for non-member or may be you can just pay for one time use.

But, as other suggested, by name they are private club so without membership or member guest status, it should b e difficult.

World Tour 2007 PlayStation Portable
ProStroke Golf: World Tour 2007 features a collection of 18 courses and a group of licensed players that includes Sergio Garcia, Justin Rose, Colin Montgomerie, Ben Curtis, and other professionals. Game modes include the standard match play, career, and multiplayer options, with the addition of special scorecard challenges for fastpaced action. One of the game’s standout features is its course and tournament creator, offering players the chance to create their own links and events with an assortment of customization options.

The interface also differs from typical golf games. Instead of looking behind the golfer while initiating the swing, players are presented with a topdown view of the ball, as if they were staring at their feet on an actual course. Players can move their feet into different stances and adjust the club’s head position to allow for chip, flop, and punch shots. Once the stance and club are set, players activate the shot using a horizontal swing meter with percentage markings to estimate power. In addition to pro players, the game includes television announcers Sam Torrence, Ian Baker Finch, and Allan Green. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
