I am in 8th grade, have been playing golf for about one year, and my high school golf team requires about a 7 handicap. I practice all areas of my game 2-3 times a week.

Making the team is a worthy goal but going out for the team is a better one. You already know that you need to practise to get that handicap down and being a thirteen is pretty good. Spend more time on your short game and try to be the best chipper and putter you can be. The key to lower scores is getting it up and down. Stay with it and you might just surprise yourself with how fast that 13 becomes 5. Good luck and don’t put undue pressure on yourself to make the team. Just showing that you’d love to be part of it will be enough to get you there.

I made the golf team at my school, and I am a good golfer, I'm a 6 handicap. The problem is that ever since school started, I have been playing worse and worse. I don't have a car, so I cant get anywhere to practice on off days, and also I can't warm up before a match. What do you suggest that I do in order to play better golf?

Move.
