Im looking for a book about managing a golf course. I want it to include the business aspect of it, as well as the maintenance of it. Let me know if you have come across anything. LINKS please!

Not aware of any book which states how a golf course is to be managed. There are two things you can do. 1) Consult with the manager of the golf course nearest you and learn first hand what is required to manage a golf course. 2) Write to the USGA in Far Hills, NJ to see if they have information. There is a club manager's association which I do not think is strictly for golf courses. They may be helpful.

I Found a good deal on the Nkie Mojo II golf balls(11.99 per/doz.). What I want to know is are they a decent golf ball? I currently have been playing with Ti Tech balls just because they are 36 for $14. I would slowly like to move up to better balls and am just curious about the Mojo's! On a side note which is a better ball the nike mojo or nike juice?

The Mojo and the Juice are designed for low to mid club head speeds, so if your driver speed is under 100 MPH either would be good. The difference is the number of dimples, 312 on the Juice, 412 on the Mojo. That means the Mojo may be slightly less likely to slice or hook, although according to Nike the Juice is supposed to have longer cary and distance. If you are an average to beginning golfer, you are not going to see much difference. They both have soft feel around the greens, which I really like. If you are a big hitter, with a club head speed of 100 MPH +, these are not the balls for you.

Ten Things You Thought You Knew about Golf Clubs
How much do you really know about your golf clubs? Did you know that: The lower the loft on your driver, the farther you’ll hit it? Your new driver has a larger “sweetspot?” You are playing a stiff shaft, because it says so on it. Women’s clubs are designed for women? Fine, but the problem is… NONE OF THOSE THINGS ARE TRUE Tom Wishon, one of the leading golf club designers in the world, takes you through 10 myths that most golfers believe about their golf clubs. They are based on his best-selling book: The Right Sticks: Equipment Myths that Could Wreck Your Golf Game. “Most golfers are playing with clubs that will not-and can not possibly-meet their needs. They are designed from the factory to be wrong for their size strength and swing characteristics.” Do you think: That longer drivers will hit the ball farther? The faster you swing, the stiffer your shaft should be? That your clubs are “just like the ones the pros use?” Concise. Interesting. Authoritative Now learn the things that they do NOT tell you in the golf club ads.
