Hi my Grandfather's birthday is coming up. An he is a big golf enthusiast. He likes the "Shark", Greg Norman. An I was wondering if there is any interesting golf gifts? I was thinking of getting him tickets to a gold game. Any other ideas be great? Thanks.
Except the only problem is the last time he played golf was two years ago. He had heat stroke, and got sick afterwards. So doesn't play anymore. Just watches.
Thanks for the clothing idea. Yea walking a lot may not be so good on his back. Thanks though for the ideas.
go to a celebrity or fan site and send him a letter or e mail explaining the situation and see if you can get him a personally autographed pic…pack that with a nice shark straw hat (like one greg wears), a shark sweater or polo, and tickets to watch the pros at the closest tournament and make up a lil shark package for him…

The tickets are a great idea. Go with that.

Greg Norman makes very nice clothes and has his own clothing line. He also has his own vineyard produces really good wine, so if grandpa likes wine get him a bottle of the Greg Norman Merlot for about $20 to $25.
Going to see a golf tournamnet in person involves miles of walking and lots of standing and you park miles away so that may not be the best choice.

I have purchased several for my Husband that he loves. First the Golf Zen Garden that allows putting practice with two mini clubs and three golf balls. You can change your designs as often as you like for an enlightening desktop distraction. Search using exact words on Amazon: "Assorted Golf Zen Garden," – it is $25.00.
Another is the Personalized Putter Set to use indoors. It comes in a wood case, with a brass handle and a brass plate for personalization. The putter disassembles for easy storage – ideal for travel. The kit includes 2 balls and a wood practice cup, with free in-graving / personalization. $50.00 on iznadgolf.com.
On the same website there is a clock with the Evolution of the Golf Ball – Clock. It has a mahogany finished clock,Hand-painted nostalgic resin golf balls and charts the early development of the golf ball, to put on a desk or mantle, $40.00.
One last suggestion is the 2' x 9' Kick Back Battery Operated Putting Mat from Izzo Golf, to use indoors. $50.00 available from "onlinesports.com"
Hope this helps!
